Dhoni Banned From Final Test Against Australia Due To a Slow Over Rate:India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been banned for the final Test against Australia because of the slow speed of more than during his innings of 37-and-run-defeat by Australia in Perth.
Dhoni gave the parties Gavaskar Trophy borders on the first WACA after they suffered the second consecutive innings defeat to fall behind 3-0 in the four series of tests.
They hope to avoid the whitewash then dealt another blow when Dhoni was given one game ban for second slower rate of crime in the past 12 months.
Although the trial finished in just over two days, Dhoni still passed the ban at the same time, was fined 40% of his match fee. His teammates have been fined 20% of their match fee.
